Navigation

All disciplines demand skills in navigation with the help of a compass, maps and a road book. The maps will be 1:50 000 with an equidistance of 20 meters. The navigation will be critical in this race, with parts of difficult orienteering on 1:15 000 maps

Kayaking

Double kayaks in a beautiful archipelago, down rivers and creeks. In class II rapids you will be using Rubber ducks (inflatable kayaks).

Trekking/Orienteering

Along trails and out in the wild. Orienteering in the mountains, through great forgotten woods and marshlands.

Rope work

Several high and exposed ascents and rope traverses, with the highest saftey and proffesional staff.

Mountainbike

Biking in great surroundings on roads and tracks.

Mountaineering/glacier trekking

The race destination contains two of the largest glaciers in Scandinavia. These will be the most demanding sections of the race and also one of its highlights.

Even though the altitude is not very high it will feel like high alpine mountaineering and some sections are quite technical, not to be taken lightly.

Kickbike

This will be used as a fast transport on road from the mountain range to the next TA. The teams will be carrying all their mountain gear during this section. Maximum 10km. Kick bikes are supplied by the Organization.

Caving

Discover a spectacular cave with awesome marble formations.

Swimming

River traverses and underwater checkpoints.

Canyoneering

Traveling through an exciting canyon - by foot, swim and jump

Inlines

In the great surroundings, inlines will allow the teams to make ground quickly.
